As a member of our Product Development team, you’ll work in an agile environment delivering industry-leading SaaS products and web service platforms. As DevOps Manager, you will report to the Director of DevOps Engineering and be responsible for the planning, execution, delivery, and success of our Development Operations scrum team.



Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Leading a team of engineers that ensures optimal uptime and product performance, provides operational efficiencies, and reduces unnecessary costs that improve SaaS margins
  • Assisting the vision and strategy by defining achievable development plans
  • Using these plans to drive the team to deliver on committed capabilities, on time, and with quality
  • Evaluating operational processes for automation, managing risk and communicating status to all stakeholders



The Candidate:

Required skills/qualifications:

  • Significant experience within development operations
  • Experience with AWS cloud architecture
  • Experience driving results in a matrixed, cross-functional, multi-team environment with geographically distributed teams
  • Experience influencing the practices of other product teams within the company, including Design, Engineering, and Operations
  • A working understanding of software engineering best practices and experience with Agile methods
  • Experience working with Product Management at a senior management level
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Cloud Formation, Chef, etc.)
  • Experience with large consumer-facing applications
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Fluency in written and spoken English at CEF B2 level or above



Preferred skills/qualifications:

  • Experience with security benchmarks (FedRAMP, FISMA, MTCS, CIS, NIST, etc.)
  • Experience with Docker- and/or Kubernetes-based CI/CD lifecycles and pipelines
