As Inside Sales Representative, you will exceed sales objectives of the assigned territory both independently and by managing Blackboard Channel Partners in LatAm and the Caribbean. You’ll play an integral role in the success of the International Sales team and be primarily responsible for generating new and expansion sales with direct accounts or company channel partners, assisting partners with client retention efforts, and working to raise level of client contact at existing clients.

 

Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Meeting and exceeding set sales quotas in your territory
  • Managing a detailed pipeline and forecast
  • Generating new opportunities into new accounts (new logos)
  • Supporting prospecting as part of the regular routine ensuring that new prospects are being added to the pipeline
  • Ensuring channel partners accurately forecast and manage resources to exceed quarterly and annual quotas
  • Becoming familiar with all Blackboard Alliance and Partner relationships and how they relate to Blackboard sales
  • Keeping abreast of competition, competitive issues, and products
  • Preparing written presentations, reports, and price quotations
  • Developing positive relationships with other employees in Marketing, Technical Support, Global Services, Finance, Engineering, and other departments as needed

 

The Candidate:

Required skills/qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years of sales experience in software solutions, related industries, and/or complex solution software sales industries
  • Track record of consistent quota achievement
  • Proven success prospecting, building a pipeline, moving opportunities through the sales cycle; proposing, presenting, and discussing solutions with C-level and other decision-makers
  • Experience with proposing, presenting, and discussing solutions with top decision-makers
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills
  • Fluency in written and spoken English at CEF B2 level or above
  • Portuguese fluency CELPE-BRAS
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Excellent relationship-building skills
