The Blackboard Global Client Experience (GCX) Team is focused on delivering technology and consulting solutions that address a wide variety of business and technology challenges. This position supports sales of consulting services and Request for Proposal (RFP) bids.

 

 

A successful candidate will be able to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, interfacing with the global field sales teams and Geo Leads in the GCX organization.

 

 

Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Developing proposals, statements of work, and RFP bids and responses
  • Collaborating and coordinating with internal contributors and subject matter experts to ensure content is complete, accurate and maximizes business opportunities
  • Preparing and maintaining a repository of templates, standard language, and product collateral
  • Supporting the Geo Leaders in presales activities including but not limited to creation of statements of work, recommendation of services, and/or presentations to clients
  • Supporting initial discovery meetings with prospective clients
  • Developing and maintains Statement of Work and proposal templates

 

 

The Candidate:

Required skills/qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in supporting presales activities
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Demonstrated experience in developing sales proposals
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented, collaborative environment

 

 

Preferred skills/qualifications:

  • Experience with RFPIO
  • Experience at technology company and/or in education and/or government agencies
  • Experience with Salesforce
