This role focuses on SafeAssign, Blackboard’s cloud-based solution for plagiarism checking. Your focus will be on maintaining and improving the Java code base, implementing new features, fixing bugs and reducing the technical dept. You will implement and maintain tools and scripts to help decrease operation toil. You will work with site reliability engineers and test automation engineers and participate in operating and monitoring the cloud environments.
As a member of our Product Development organization, you’ll work in an agile environment delivering industry-leading SaaS products and web service platforms. Software engineers work in a team environment, collaborating on the design, implementation, and support of Blackboard’s products.
