In this role, you will build features for our teaching and learning products to deliver best in class solutions to clients. As a Software Engineer (Full Stack), you will work in a SAFe Agile environment to deliver and build the next generation EdTech platform fueled by data. A successful candidate must be comfortable with complex software development projects and be an innovative thinker. As a direct contributor, the candidate must be comfortable meeting deadlines on multiple projects and must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving requirements. In addition to developing software, the ideal candidate can troubleshoot problems and support our production environments. Prior experience in web service development with a service-oriented architecture is preferred.
We are looking for a candidate with skills on the backend and the desire to become a full stack engineer with the willingness to expand and grow their skillset. This engineer will be working in a serverless environment on the AWS platform and should have a strong desire to learn as technologies evolve.
Blackboard has an office located in Bogota, Colombia as a hub for the LAC market.
