Blackboard’s Global Fulfillment & Entitlement Operations team provides the external face of the company to the client, specifically in the areas of licensing, contact management, providing access to multiple Blackboard tools, and more.  Our team reviews all orders requested by sales and services to ensure the proper product is delivered accurately and swiftly to the clients and the associate revenue is released accurately and in a timely manner. 

 

 

This position is an associate-level position with primary responsibility for ensuring the processes around product fulfillment, data maintenance, customer contact, and revenue recognition are done efficiently and accurately.  Our team works in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and interfaces directly with sales, finance, and customers to review, maintain, and ensure client satisfaction with the fulfillment process and data integrity of our CRM and financial systems. 

 

 

Specific responsibilities will include: 

  • Ensuring that client requirements are satisfied swiftly and accurately for new and recurring clients including: 
    • Creating and distributing various license keys and other product deliveries; reacting to voluminous requests for licenses as part of new sales and renewal process; providing revised licenses and deliveries as needed resulting from customer requests   
    • Understanding basic revenue recognition protocols and delivery triggers for revenue recognition
    • Understanding requirements for setting up services for clients
    • Contact management (providing customers with access to support tools) 
    • Acting as gatekeeper for client orders to provisioning team
    • Ensuring all orders match the contracted entitlements
  • Serving as NAHE point of contact for the team on issues related to fulfillment and revenue recognition
  • Responding to all customer requests professionally, completely, accurately and with the highest urgency
  • Supporting clients by providing their start up information and answering first level questions on their fulfillment; referring clients to appropriate parties (sales or support) for more complex customer service or technical issues
  • Maintaining database with all licensing information in Salesforce including consistent and accurate asset updates
  • Assisting with data and systems maintenance initiatives including cross-system maintenance, data cleanup, part numbers, new product coordination, etc.  

 

  

The Candidate:

Required skills/qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Fluency in written and spoken English at CEF B2 level or above
  • Ability to work with ambiguity in a fast-paced, changing environment 
  • Strong deductive reasoning skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment  
  • Positive attitude and work ethic
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize to accomplish specific tasks 
  • Ability to manage, analyze, and track data for a sophisticated and often complex sales process  
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively partner with clients, customers, and fellow colleagues of all levels 
  • Intermediate experience using Excel 
  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills 

 

 

Preferred skills/qualifications:

  • Four-year degree 
  • Salesforce experience  
  • PeopleSoft Financials experience 
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
