Blackboard’s K-12 team is responsible for new client acquisition exclusively in the K-12 market. They meet or exceed sales objectives of the assigned territory by promoting and selling the Blackboard suite of products and services through a consultative selling approach that effectively aligns the products to customer business objectives while demonstrating a quantifiable value proposition to the customer.
As Account Executive, you will be responsible for selling multiple Blackboard solutions into growth accounts, which are mainly mid-tier to large enrollment districts, while focusing aggressively on new business within those existing accounts and prospect accounts. Additionally, you will be responsible for prospecting within defined territories by leveraging existing client relationships, referrals, cold calling, social media, and marketing. You will plan and lead strategic meetings across a diverse client base at the executive level of the K-12 district, reading the communication and buying style of the decision-maker and supporting committee members.
