As a Project Manager for our Shared Services Process Enablement team, you will have the opportunity to lead and contribute to a broad selection of operational and strategic initiatives within the Product Development and Delivery (PDD) organization. The Process Enablement team seeks to reduce waste by providing PDD with practices, data and supporting tools designed to enhance efficiency and empower self-organization to achieve strategic outcomes. We do this through the execution and guidance of project management and Agile practices, and most recently have begun a SAFe transformation at the team and portfolio level.

This position serves as a liaison between globally distributed Senior Leadership, vendors, and internal stakeholders. This position will enhance the Shared Services team through the management of strategic projects and support the Process Enablement team in driving adoption of project and program management and agile practices across PDD.

This position is for someone with the ability to lead and collaborate on large, complex, cross functional projects. You would add additional value to the role by having knowledge and experience in both project management and agile practices, especially experience in championing both disciplines and leading teams through change. Knowledge and experience working in a SAFe environment is most welcome.

This position works under the guidance of the Sr. Manager of Technical Project Management.

Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and collaborating on large, cross functional projects and process improvement efforts
  • Influencing parties within and outside the organization regarding policies, practices, and procedures
  • Communicating effectively around project details and processes within and outside the organization
  • Prioritizing and driving projects to conclusion based upon business priorities
  • Championing effective practices designed to enable teams to succeed
  • Managing projects through the project management lifecycle
  • Identifying and managing cross-team project dependencies and helping teams mitigate risks in schedule and scope
  • Advancing and achieving outcomes through leadership, collaboration, and a willingness to listen and learn
  • Participating in efforts to evolve our Agile practices and maturity

The Candidate:

Required skills/qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience working in a program/project management role managing multiple concurrent large-scale projects
  • Experience working through the project management lifecycle
  • Experienced and comfortable with defining project scope and identifying and tracking dependencies
  • Ability to identify and solve problems with minimal guidance and limited resources
  • Capable of collaborating with cross-functional, globally distributed teams and stakeholders to establish and secure a reliable and productive working relationship
  • Comfortable presenting to stakeholders at all levels of the organization including technical experts, business owners, and executive level staff
  • Familiarity with and enthusiasm for Agile
  • Adaptable to an evolving and changing environment
  • Desire to build relationships and influence others through integrity and trust
