We are looking for an Educational Consultant to join the Educational Consulting & Training team. The team supports clients in the effective implementation of Anthology products to support online teaching and learning, ensure successful adoption of our products, and maximize the educational returns on the client's investment. We provide clients with consulting services which include defining requirements and business rules, facilitate application strategy sessions, draft specifications, identify implementation strategies and product use cases, provide product training, provide instructional design, and course design services and lead the process that delivers our client systems to the production state.  This position supports the delivery of product training and Anthology Academy professional development workshops.

A successful candidate will have experience working with educational technologies in a higher education, business, or governmental capacity.  The candidate will have experience working with learning management systems as an instructor, instructional designer, or system administrator.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Delivering onsite and remote Anthology product and best practices training
• Monitoring, tracking, and reporting project status and performance
• Conducting meetings with client sponsors and stakeholders
• Identifying customer risks and communicating to leadership
• Analyzing client needs and identifying Anthology products and services that align to these needs
• Partnering with Sales, Marketing and Product Development to create customer solutions
• Identifying unique requirements for large and strategic accounts and coordinate with other Anthology departments to ensure successful delivery
• Managing a portfolio of clients that include strategic, consortia and complex clients
• This role requires approximately 50% travel

The Candidate:

Required skills/qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field (e.g. education, information technology, business) or equivalent experience
• 2+ years’ consulting experience, with experience consulting to educational institutions, or experience in management or administration within an educational institution
• Experience with e-learning course management technology, preferably Anthology Learn
• Proven ability to handle multiple client engagements simultaneously
• Ability to work in a geographically distributed virtual team environment and to build relationships with internal and external organizations
• Dynamic, creative problem-solving skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills

Preferred skills/qualifications:

• Master’s degree in a related field (e.g., education, information technology, business)
• Previous experience in the educational technology industry
• Background in content/knowledge management, digital asset management, as well as with education related technologies
• A background in instructional design and/or online learning theory
• Ability to deliver services in additional languages other than English
